Policies Acknowledgement

Payment is due at the time that service is provided. The office accepts Debit, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, as well as cash payments. We accept payment plans ONLY via Care Credit Cards and we recommend that you apply for Care Credit prior to your scheduled appointment.

Late Arrival and Missed Appointment Policy

Our team understands that life can be complicated and hectic, and sometimes appointments get forgotten. It is our aim to have a policy that will reflect our understanding but also allow appropriate time for all of our scheduled appointments to be seen in a timely fashion. Please review our policy to prepare for your visit.

We consider a “no-show” appointment one where a client does not inform us that they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 4 prior to the scheduled appointment time. We know that things can happen to prevent you from showing up to appointments and will not require a fee for the first time this happens. However, if you have subsequent no-show appointment, a fee of $79 is required.

Late arrival for appointments is discouraged, but we know life can be messy and unexpected things can happen. Please call to inform us if you are expecting to arrive after your scheduled appointment time. If you have not arrived within 10 minutes of your appointment, we consider this a late arrival, and a fee will be added to your invoice. For arrivals 15 minutes after your scheduled time, there will be a work-in fee applied to invoice for the day and you will have the option to drop-off.

Calling to inform us is the best policy! If you know that you are running late, please call us so we can instruct you how we can best handle the situation with as little stress to you and your pet while also respecting other patients’ and clients’ time.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

Appointment Cancellation Fee: We will collect a fee for appointments that are cancelled less than 4 hours prior to the scheduled time. This fee will help us better manage our appointment schedule and ensure that we can provide timely care to all patients.

Reason for the Policy: As a busy veterinary office, our appointment schedule fills up quickly. When appointments are cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the time, it can be challenging to fill that slot with another patient in need. By implementing this policy, we aim to minimize appointment no-shows and ensure that every appointment slot is utilized effectively.

How to Avoid the Fee: We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To avoid the cancellation fee, we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This will allow us to offer the appointment slot to another pet in need of care. If you cannot provide 24 hours of notice, please call our office at 602-374-3091 to speak with a team member as soon as possible to make other arrangements.
