Dr. Alyssa Show was born and raised in a small community just south of Tallahassee, Florida. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was six years old when she witnessed her family’s foster dog giving birth. Dr. Show began her career working with animals as a kennel technician in high school and was then cross-trained as a veterinary assistant and receptionist throughout undergrad. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Florida State University (Go Noles!) and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University.
In her years of practice, Dr. Show has developed special interests in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and client education. She prioritizes communication, connection, and nurturing the human-animal bond because she believes that the more owners understand, the healthier their pets can be.
In her free time, Dr. Show enjoys off-roading, hiking, and snuggling with her four poodle mixes, Harry, Grover, Betty, and Teddy.
Dr. Taylor Davids is from Canton, Georgia. She grew up loving animals and started a job at a miniature animal petting zoo in high school. During her time there, she continued to develop her interest in veterinary medicine before ultimately pursuing a degree in animal science with an emphasis in animal biology and later a doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Georgia.
She decided to leave the southeast with her two cats, Kitten and Elton John, and join the team at North Kenilworth Veterinary Care. When she’s not at work, she enjoys hiking, weightlifting, and UGA football.
